OnePlus will unveil a new phone on Tuesday , the OnePlus 3T that’s supposed to be a mild upgrade of the OnePlus 3. But the company is also working on next year’s flagship, which is probably the OnePlus phone to buy if you’re willing to wait a few months.- DON’T MISS: Watch Dave Chappelle’s hilarious SNL opening monologue tackle all things Trump The OnePlus 3T will probably be an exciting proposition. It’ll have the same processor as the Google Pixel, but it’ll probably be a lot more affordable. That said, if you’ve already bought the OnePlus 3, then you might be better off waiting for next summer to upgrade to a brand new OnePlus handset. According to a leak from Asia , the OnePlus 4 (or OnePlus 5) will come in two versions when it comes to RAM, sporting either 6GB or 8GB of memory. The phone could also have two Snapdragon processor versions, including the Snapdragon 830 and Snapdragon 835 — they’ll probably be 10nm chips, considering this naming scheme. The phone is also expected to feature a dual lens camera on the back for augmented and mixed reality features — that’s AR and MR. Other features include a 5.3-inch 2K AMOLED display, 128GB of storage, 4,000 mAh battery, and a glass-made body. The OnePlus 4 should be released at some point next summer, although it's too early for any announcements in that regard. Obviously, this is just a rumor and an early one at best. That said, it’s very likely the phone OnePlus launches next year will offer the same high-end specs as the Galaxy S8 and other flagships set for a 2017 release. So we do expect the phone to sport a top processor and lots of memory, both the RAM and ROM kinds.
