Facebook today said Android devices will soon have more options when watching video. Android phone and tablet owners can now stream Facebook-based video to their television set via Chromecast. Google's Chromecast product is an HDMI dongle that plugs directly into most HDTVs. Facebook's iOS app has supported streaming to the Apple TV and Chromecast for a while, and the feature is now making its way to Android. Android device owners will be able to browse through their Facebook feed while casting videos from their phone to their TV and queue up more videos if they wish. The feature supports Facebook Live Video, too, and will show live reactions and comments on the TV just as it does in the mobile app. Facebook for Android is free to download from the Google Play Store.
