Having launched in March 2016 at $599, the VR kit from Facebook-owned, Samsung-partnered Oculus is set to retail at a recommended price of €699 in the Euro zone and £549 in the UK. While it requires a recent and relatively high-end computer to power it, the Oculus Rift offers a first step into consumer-grade virtual reality.
