Tapping the button will automatically translate the content to the user's native language. Instagram didn't specify if the functionality will reach its web site, mobile apps, or both. "The Instagram community has grown faster and become more global than we ever imagined. And we're excited that you'll soon be able to understand the full story of a moment, no matter what language you speak," said the company in a blog post. The translation feature will be made available to most users. Instagram is owned by Facebook. The app is free to download from the Google Play Store and the iTunes App Store.
