New leak shows Samsung’s next iPhone

Samsung's new Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge clearly took inspiration from Apple's iPhone lineup in a few key areas, but the phones for the most part have their own design identity. In particular, the Galaxy S7 edge stands alone as- the sleekest and most stylish smartphone the world has ever seen — iPhone included. But just when it seemed as though Samsung was going to head in its own direction and steer away from its long history of copying Apple , something like this happens. It would look almost exactly like this: No, that's not some peculiar fan render of the iPhone 7 . It's a leaked image showing a real Samsung smartphone that will soon be released. The phone is called the Samsung Galaxy C5, where the "C" apparently stands for "Copy," and the leaked images were published on Friday by- Tencent Digital . According to the report, Samsung is getting ready to release two different versions of its new iPhone clone. The Galaxy C5 sports a 5.2-inch screen while the larger Galaxy C7 has a 5.7-inch display. And as you might have guessed, these new-metal handsets will also come in a nifty rose gold color: The report states that both new phones will sport full HD Super AMOLED displays, 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage and 16-megapixel cameras. The smaller Galaxy C5 will feature a Snapdragon 617 processor and a 2,600 mAh battery while the larger Galaxy G7 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 625 processor and a larger 3,300 mAh battery. Samsung Galaxy C5 is expected to be released soon in the Asian region starting at-2199 yuan ($336), and the Galaxy C7 will reportedly start at-2599 yuan ($397). The phones likely won't launch in the US unless Samsung wants to test the waters and see if Apple's days of-litigiousness really are behind it.
