Think Google Daydream is cool? This VR amusement park puts you inside a video game

Google’s new Android-based-virtual reality platform Daydream is likely a step in the right direction , as it’ll help the VR ecosystem grow in the coming years. But the VR experience Google demoed on stage during its I/O 2016 keynote, as impressive it may be, isn’t the kind of VR-I’m looking for. However, there’s a company out there that’s building the first ever 5D amusement park that’ll deliver a virtual experience ready to take over all your senses. DON’T MISS:- How I added microSD support to my iPhone 6s About a year ago, we talked about The Void , the innovative-amusement park in question that’s opening in Utah next year, and new videos reveal that the project is coming-along quite nicely. The following clip from NyMag shows us what a 5D game of laser tag would look like. Gamers would have virtual reality helmets covering their eyes, but they’ll move inside a man-made maze that’s digitally recreated inside the VR app. They’ll have laser tags guns in their hands and wear vests that’ll offer force feedback. The universe inside The Void is spectacular and terrifying. Players have to navigate the maze and use physical objects for various purposes – like carrying a torch. The VR world can be filled with scary monsters that look like the real thing. Some lucky VR fans have already tested some of the attractions at The Void, and they’re very impressed.
