Troubleshooting data on Android

I was hoping to get a thread going to help troubleshoot data on droids.

Like if there is no 3g icon - Check PRL and EVDO settings

But what if you have the icon showing data being sent but only receives for a second and then fails? Does that mean the flash is good but the account is refusing it?

Thought I would start a thread for everyone to post little issues and how they solved them. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Gurus!

Actually this is what the whole forum is about. To troubleshoot problems on phones. Here users are free to start their own threads on the specific problem they are having.

Genuine1976, Whitey, and others have been a big help on the Android part. There are quite a few threads for troubleshooting those problems already.

About 99% of the time data features aren't working on the phone, it is because settings on the flash need to be adjusted.
