HTC recently kicked the One name from its flagship device, now called the HTC 10, however the company isn’t ready to get rid of One just yet. In fact, the company recently launched a new One phone in Europe, called the HTC One S9. Related:- Which Android heavyweight should you bet on? As far as processing goes, it has a MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core 64-bit processor along with 2GB of RAM. 16GB of storage is available in the base model, however there is a microSD card slot to expand that up to 2TB of storage. Of course, the real issue is getting your hands on a 2TB microSD card, but the point is that you have plenty of room to expand. The rear-facing camera on the device is 13MP, and offers auto-focus and optical image stabilization. For the media junkies out there, the device includes BoomSound dual speakers, and it will continue-with a 2,840mAh battery. The HTC One S9 also includes a design similar to HTC’s other One smartphones. In fact, it would be easy to confuse the One S9 with the One M9 from-looking at the back of the device. Sure, it’s not the- most high-spec device on the market, but it’s certainly not bad. There are a few things that would need to be present for the One S9 to be considered a flagship — it doesn’t include a fingerprint scanner or a USB-C port, for example. In general, however, the S9 looks like a more-than-capable mid-range device. While the One S9 may-be a solid mid-range contender, unfortunately it doesn’t have a mid-range price to match. Listed in Germany, the phone comes at a cool 499 euros, which is around $565. Also watch: Apple iPhone 6S Plus vs. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Please enable Javascript to watch this video
