I'm thinking you can load any OS of the same model to any carrier's phone. I've done it between Verizon and Sprint. But the catch is this... It will still load up with the native carrier's logos as well as the interface. Also, the problem you would run into with that is the fact that if you flash the Blackberry to US Cellular, US Cellular won't activate it because it's going to require the data plan for Blackberries and it won't work on the US Cellular network.
I hope I made sense on this one and I am not fully of poo poo. But that has been my experience.

Go to this website: [Only registered and activated users can see links] and download the OS you choose to install. After that, make sure you have Desktop Manager installed (Google for that). Then after that is complete, go to Windows Explorer then go to Program Files>>>Common Files>>>Research In Motion>>>App Loader. Once you are there, remove the "Vendor.xml" file. Then click on the loader.exe. It will detect your phone and you can follow the wizard from there...
I hope this helps.

Are you going to the windows explorer and then to program files then to common files then Research in Motion then app loader and finally where it says "loader.exe"?

Hmm. Did you delete the vendor.xml file from the app loader folder? If that is done, then perhaps you need to reinstall desktop manager.

Yes, i did that. What version of desktop manager you use?

Hmmm.... Try a different version of the software. Go to that website and try a different version. Sometimes not all the versions are compatible. I've had that happen before too.

123456& use the MFI multiloader nuke the device until it says no applications linked.
Then use cmd and type
cd\
cd program files
cd common files
cd research in motion
cd apploader
loader /nojvm
that will force the OS to load into your device. It should be a go from there. you can find MFI here

I see you hit the thanks button but i dont know if you downloaded. If you need any help with this process just let me know.
