The latest video gripping the Internet purports to show the most advanced and exciting- hoverboard design ever developed. Built by Zapata Racing, the Flyboard Air sure looks like the futuristic hoverboard we've all been waiting for. And as opposed to previous hoverboard designs we've seen, the Flbyoard Air- seemingly just works, all without the need for special magnets or other limiting requirements. DON'T MISS:- HTC 10’s official promo video and specs leak ahead of Tuesday’s unveiling According to Zapata Racing, the technology behind the Flyboard Air has been in development for 4 years. The supposed specs of the device are insane: autonomous flight up to 10,000 feet, a top speed of 93 mph and 10 minutes of flying time. You'll have to forgive us for being just a tad skeptical. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEDrMriKsFM The video is undoubtedly incredible, but sad to say that there's no way that this can be real, right? I mean, the laws of physics simply won't allow it! After all, how is it earthly possible that a contraption that small could provide that much thrust while simultaneously allowing the rider to maintain his balance so smoothly. Clearly, something just doesn't add up. Notably, the entire ride looks surprisingly similar to a Flyboard , a hoverboard type device with a water jetpack attached to it. Notably, the Flyboard, video of which can be seen below, was developed in 2012 by Franky Zapata of Zapata Racing. As a result, some commenters believe that the above video simply depicts a-Flyboard in use with the accompanying water jetpack edited out. Either way, the Flyboard Air video is so amazing we don't really care if it's fake. Sometimes, you just have to enjoy the ride, even if the ride is the result of crafty editing and incredible special effects. https://youtu.be/eAJkVSxMRm0
