Need something to take your mind off of all that information? Check out these new apps of the week, and hey — they’d be perfect to try on your shiny, new iPad or iPhone SE. Color Switch Color Switch is the perfect game for your commute, or just for killing time. It’s quite similar to Flappy Bird, except it’s not as hard, and it won’t make you want to throw your phone out the window. You essentially control a ball by tapping the screen repeatedly to keep it from falling. You have to move through obstacles to advance, but you can only hop through them if they match the color of the ball. Miss, and you’ll explode into colorful pieces and will have to start over. Available on:- iTunes Google Play ShotPitch Having trouble finding and meeting with investors to raise money for your startup? Try ShotPitch. Quickly add your startup’s information — such as how much you are raising and annual revenue — and then explore various investors. Send -your pitch to the ones you think may be interested. Of course, the app works two ways, so if you’re an investor, you’ll be getting curated pitches from around the world — and you don’t have to share your email. Available on:- iTunes Google Play Stash If you’ve ever thought about getting into investing, but have been hesitant, then Stash is the app for you. Stash’s goal is to remove the confusion and heavy jargon from investing in stocks, and turn it into an easy way for people to save a little money and invest. You can invest with as little as $5, and the service is free for the first 3 months. After that, it’s $1 per month, and once your account reaches $5,000, Stash will take 0.25 percent of your account balance per year. Stash just landed on Android. Available on: iTunes Google Play TeleKitty Behold, cat people — the perfect app to understand what your cat is saying. Not really, but once you take a picture of your cat with the “Cat Purrcognition” software, it will churn out a message with some additional illustrations, for you to share to whoever is crazy enough to be listening. There are in-app purchases to acquire more categories of “cat thoughts.” Available on: iTunes Klara If you like to know the lowdown on the day’s weather in precise detail — whether it’s for work, or if you’re planning an event — you’re better off going with Klara. This beautiful app shows you everything you need in a neat format, and all on one page. You’ll be able to check the precipitation, temperature, cloud coverage, wind speed and direction, pressure, and humidity via Klara. You can also choose from four color skins, and there’s a widget for even quicker access. Available on: Google Play Looking for even more?
