The app will be available on both Android and iOS, and will offer users the option to import a Mii from the Wii U or a 3DS using a QR code. Another big part of the app is Miifoto, which basically lets you take photos of your Mii in different poses, with different backgrounds, or with backgrounds that you’ve imported. These shots are perfect for sharing on social media. Nintendo is banking on the addictive qualities of the game to make Miitomo a success. The app has already been downloaded a million time in Japan, which is a good indication of its potentially success.
