I have had the Motorola Droid now for over a month. I have tried the 2.0.1 and it was horrible. Too many errors to count. I have been running the smoked glass ROM and it isn't too bad. My question is this:

What is the best ROM for the Droid when it is flashed to Cricket service? I mean as far as battery life, stability, and speed.

Thanks for your input.

Smoked Glass has always worked great for me...but its true that battery life isn't all it could be...as far as functionality tho...never had a problem

Well my personal fav. is CyanogenMOD 6.0 rc2 because of all of the customizations and stuff, and the battery life is pretty darn good if you as me and you know I AM DROID......

There is a bit more to it than that...

You need to root the phone first. I am assuming that is already done if you have the Cyanogen ROM on it. Then you need to have the autostart.sh, IP Tables, and U2nl file as well in their proper places.

Right here in the forum there is a tutorial. Let me know if you can't find it. We also have a search feature at the top right hand corner. It is pretty decent actually.

Good Luck

liquid frozen yogurt 1.7 is the bomb! cyanogen 6.0 is great as well.
