Is it possible to make a nandroid backup off of a tmobile my touch of all the paid-for apps and load them through a restore onto a motorola droid? I have a customer who is making the switch and is curious as i am the same. Logically it seems pheasable, but i figured i would check with you all to see if it can be done!

As far as I know...when you have purchased an APP from the market...that is in your personal account...so you dont have to pay for them anymore...I did it one time when I switched my wife's Hero to a Moto Droid and I didnt have to pay for the apps again...just download it again :)

If you were doing a nandroid back up and restore from the same device ie: Droid to Droid, you could probably get away with it. But otherwise I wouldn't try it. Like phoneguy said paid apps are in your account and can you can redownload.

That makes sense. I was figuring such, but it never hurts to ask.
