How to use your Android Phone as a Modem.

Does anybody know how to use the Androids as a modem?...any help will be much appreciated :)

PDA net, or even Wifi tether. I have had luck with wifi tether for my laptop and PDA net on the tower oddly reverse that order and they don't work. Also wifi tether looses connection after a few minutes on my Hero.

Yes use Pdanet and I have posted a link to the full pc program and then just get the app from the market it is free...

OK...so the PDAnet software is for the PC...the key generator is for security (I believe) and whats the name for the App?

And if your phone came with Verizon 3G Hotspot...It works like a charm on Cricket once u flash it...i can run 3 or 4 comps with the smart phone plan and get decent speeds.

Currently using PdaNet on my Droid 2.2...Working flawless....Now I can use CDMA Workshop when im mobil without paying for the air card.... Thank you guys. :)

I download PDAnet v2.45, appears it was a trial...asking me to go to Junes Fabric and purchase full version. Said my copy is expiring...pleaseprovide information as to how I can get around this expiration, etc.
