Motorola’s ShatterShield technology ensures that the screen won’t break, even after a fall, but that aluminum frame is slippery and it could get scuffed or dinged quite easily. It’s also not the best looking phone in the world, so you may prefer to give it a new look. Time to shop for the best Motorola Droid Turbo 2 cases, or, if you’re outside the States, the best Moto X Force cases. The matte finish is soft to the touch and easy to grip. You can get it in navy blue, grey, or black. The gloss Diztronic logo on the side detracts a little, but otherwise it’s a plain option. Available at: Amazon Case Mate Tough Case ($30) The aptly-named Tough case from Case-Mate sports a dual-layer design that should keep your Droid Turbo 2 safe from impact damage. There’s a special textured, diamond-pattern finish that really enhances the grip and helps it blend in with the phone. The openings are large, so you can access ports and use the camera without any trouble. There is a tiny logo at the bottom of the back, but it’s subtle and the only other detail to speak of is the metallic button covers, which work really nicely.
