sweet thanks, have you tested this? does it work on all of the android phones? and is it a full root or a partial root?

I have tried it on my droid but I will ask if the members her would try it on other phones and please report if it works or not, but it did give full root on the droid and the droidX

for some reason it keeps saying that the info provided isnt valid, I even used my paid for easyroot did same lol

either copy it to ur sdcard and use a app like linda to drowse to it and then install it.. Or you can use the app installer I posted called iAPK

Got it:

I used Wi-Fi on a Droid

From your handset > Click on Android Market Place > Under search tab > Type - Linda > Download Linda File Manager.


Once App is downloaded > From your main screen > Select Linda Manager > SD Card > FreeRoot App

It doesn't support the Samsung m900 (Moment)

Seems like a nice app though

By the way...Im using the Droid 2.2...and i was having problems with the apps...even with the text messages...super slow but after Rooting with this usefull tool, everything its working fast and smooth ... :)

On a side note none of these rooting apk's will work on a Incredible running 2.2.
