The video highlights two aspects of the phone: wireless charging and water resistance. And of course, it works well with the Gear S2 smartwatch. In a tweet, Kanye said “My album will never never never be on Apple, and it will never be for sale. You can only get it on Tidal.” Three nevers? Sounds pretty serious. But Tidal users who ponied up $20-to actually download the album are also-frozen out as no download seems to be forthcoming – the album will only stream. Naturally, the Tidal app spiked to the top of Apple’s App store overnight, and in case you missed it, Beyonce is offering a free 90-day trial of Tidal, so in effect, you could listen to Life of Pablo … for free.
