March’s candidates include the PlayStation 4 versions of Action Henk!, Assault Android Cactus , and Broforce . The game with the most votes by the end of the month will be given away for free to service subscribers throughout March. Among the candidates is Broforce , a side-scrolling run-and-gun shooter from Devolver Digital and developer Free Lives. Originally released via Steam’s Early Access program, Broforce has seen significant expansion in the months following its launch, and now includes dozens of playable characters inspired by ’80s action movies. The PlayStation 4 version of Broforce features a co-op campaign for up to four players either locally or online via the PlayStation Network, along with an “Explosion Run” time attack mode for veteran players. Also up for vote is Assault Android Cactus , a twin-stick shooter with a unique draining battery feature in place of the genre’s standard respawn mechanics. Players compete for score across 25 arenas filled with deadly enemies either alone or with friends in a four-player local co-op mode. March’s final candidate is Action Henk! , which its creators describe as “a lightning fast platform-racing game set in a beautifully crafted 3D toy box world.” Action Henk! tests player reflexes throughout more than 70 included levels. “The thread that brings these three games together: fun titles that can connect the Plus community to play together with friends,” Sony notes. “We hope that you’ll enjoy learning about each game and the developers behind them before casting your vote.” PlayStation Plus members can vote for next month’s featured game by accessing the “Vote to Play” option on the PlayStation Store on February 9th.
