The G10 is a clip on device you wear, and the S20 is a watch that also has smart notification features. Along with the G10 and S20, Garmin also unveiled-an accessory device that clips onto golf clubs — the TruSwing — at the PGA show in Orlando, Florida. Here are all the details about Garmin’s latest golf-focused wearable lineup. Approach G10 The pocket-sized G10 is a high-sensitive GPS device that comes preloaded with more than 40,000 golf courses around the world. The clip-on device has four buttons around its sides for various functions. It provides distance information of the green and helps course targets like sand traps and water hazards. It also doubles as a score card with Garmin’s Connect app, which is available on Windows, Android, and iOS. The IPX-7 waterproof device has a built in odometer to calculate how much distance you have covered, and will last you 15 hours of battery on a single charge in GPS mode. The G10 will set you back-$130 and will be available in the first quarter of 2016. Related: -Come sail away with Garmin’s waterproof Quatix 3 smartwatch Approach S20 Like the G10, the S20 also comes preloaded with more than 40,000 golf courses around the world, but it’s primarily a smartwatch that offers daily activity tracking and smart notifications. The watch alerts users to keep moving throughout the day, and also measures calories burned, steps, distance traveled, and even sleep. The S20 has an Autoshot feature that records the locations and distance of each shot automatically. You’ll need Garmin’s Connect app to view the data, and like the G10, it also shows information on yardages to the green and course targets. The $200 watch isn’t much to look at, but it has a 15 hour battery life in GPS mode, which can last for eight weeks in watch mode with-activity tracking and smart notifications. It’s waterproof up to 50m, comes in black, white, and teal, and will be available in February of 2016. TruSwing The TruSwing looks like an enlarged pill, and it’s more of a wearable for your golf club. It’s a sensor that measures your swing and syncs immediately to Approach devices or to the Garmin Connect app. Users can see their swing metrics to improve their form, and the Connect app shows 3D animations and saves the history of each swing. The IPX-7 waterproof device will run for-12 hours on a single charge, and also weighs 28 grams and attaches below the grip. TruSwing will be available in the first quarter of 2016 for $150.
