It doesn’t matter whether you want to spend $100 or $700 either, store shelves are packed with choice. While some will instantly go for their preferred brand, it may be worth taking a step back and seeing what the rest have to offer, because there are some fantastic phones on sale right now. Here are the phones we like, based on our recent reviews and hands-on tests. You should put these phones on the top of your list. The Best Apple iPhone 6S Please enable Javascript to watch this video Apple is now one of the few manufacturers that is still making a phone that’s smaller than 5-inches. The iPhone 6S sports the same 4.7-inch, 1,334 x 750 pixel Retina screen as its predecessor, and comes wrapped in a very slim aluminum body. There’s even a rose gold version for those who want a flashier look.-Apple also upgraded the rear camera to 12 megapixels and the front-facing shooter to 5 megapixels. The speedy A9 processor and 2GB RAM keep things moving, and iOS 9 looks as bright and colorful as ever, while 3D Touch takes iOS to another level. It’s a truly incredible device for iOS users who still want a slightly smaller phone. Avoid purchasing the version with only 16GB of storage, though. You will run out of space.- Read our full review here. Buy it now from:- Apple Store--AT&T- -Sprint- -T-Mobile- -Verizon Wireless The Rest LG G4 Please enable Javascript to watch this video The LG G4 is LG’s flagship Android phone for 2015, and it’s a worthy successor to the LG G3, with an excellent 16-megapixel camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, and a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen. Although the processor isn’t the latest chip from Qualcomm, the 3GB of RAM backing it ensures that the G4 is just as speedy as every other phone on this list. Add to that the option of a slick leather back cover, expandable storage via a MicroSD card, the option of a removable battery, and the best manual camera controls in the business, and the G4 is our top Android smartphone pick.- Read our full review here. Buy it now from:- Amazon--AT&T--Sprint--T-Mobile--Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 Please enable Javascript to watch this video Samsung has changed gears for the Galaxy S6. It removed some of the well-established features (no more removable battery or MicroSD card slot), but has given the phone’s design a much needed makeover, and it looks fantastic. It also feels great in the hand, and the glass and metal body is a real beauty. The only problems with the new design are its fragility and the abundance of fingerprints that the glass back panel picks up. The company has also calmed down on the often superfluous extra features. In the S6, you get a very fast camera, a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel screen, a 64-bit processor, Android 5.0, a zippy processor, and wireless charging.- Read our full review here. Buy it now from: AT&T-- Sprint- -T-Mobile--Verizon-Best Buy Sony Xperia Z5 Please enable Javascript to watch this video Sony popped out a bunch of Xperia phones in 2015, and the Xperia Z5 is the best of the bunch. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, and 3GB of RAM onboard. As is typical for Sony phones, the Z5 is waterproof with an IP68 rating, which means it can still work after a spill into a puddle (if it doesn’t crack). The phone has a sleek metal frame and a glass back. Its 23-megapixel camera is a standout with 4K video recording, and the 5-megapixel front cam should snap sharp selfies. The only downside is that it’s hard to get a hold of in the United States, but if you’re in Europe, it’s no problem.- Read our hands on-review-here. Buy it now from: Amazon Motorola Droid Turbo 2 It’s a high-tech rocket ship. That’s almost all we need to say about the Droid Turbo 2. The 5.4-inch screen has a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution, but to make it even more appealing, it features Shattershield tech, which protects the phone’s screen from shattering with several layers of material. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 chip provides the power, and a whopping 3,760mAh battery keeps it running for twice as long as you’d expect. Motorola didn’t forget about the camera, and has put a 21-megapixel sensor on the rear. If that wasn’t enough, the Kevlar reinforced rear panel looks and feels great, plus it’s water repellant. We also don’t recommend any phone with less than 32GB of internal storage. You will probably run out of space before you’re ready to purchase a new device.
