Previous rumors for the OnePlus Mini ended up relating to-the OnePlus X, so the name of the device is likely to change. GFXBench shows a listing for an “unknown” OnePlus smartphone. The OnePlus X was supposed to be the company’s “mini” entry in the smartphone market, but if the information from GFXBench is accurate, that might change with the OnePlus 2 Mini, as it is listed as a 4.6-inch device. Despite its size, the description-says the device will still sport-a 1080p resolution and be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor and Adreno 430 GPU. The device is purported to have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The internals are the exact same as the OnePlus 2, so it’s safe to say that the OnePlus 2 Mini is a smaller version of the device, and isn’t-necessarily meant to be a more affordable option like the OnePlus X. It’s listed as running Android 5.1.1, but that could change depending on the device’s release date, as Android 6.0.1 has begun rolling out. The information says the device will not have NFC capabilities, like the OnePlus 2. There aren’t a lot of smartphones in this size range these days, but there are still some notable competitors like the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, or the Moto E 2015.
