"It means everything," Gaga told Access Hollywood on the red carpet on Friday, before Billboard's Women in Music event in New York City, of the honor. "I was asleep and I had my cell phone under my pillow and it started to vibrate so I woke up and I just had 10 text messages that said you got a Golden Globe nomination -- Best Actress," Gaga recounted.
