HTC has announced that its highly anticipated virtual reality headset will see a commercial release in April 2016, with multiple showcases and developer events planned ahead of launch. In a blog post, HTC discussed plans to deliver 7,000 more Vive headsets to developers at the start of 2016, possibly to help beef up the headset's software offerings before its consumer release.
