Just out of curiosity, what is the advantages of downgrading to 2.0.1?

I was under the impression after rooting an htc hero that it was better to do so. I know updates can make life h*ll if your dealing with other devices, so it became a rule of thumb. Does the downgrade really matter for the droid and the hero? I would like to know as it will save me a lot of time. Thanks in advance Smitty.

These appear to be the Verizon .sbf files, personally when flashing any Droid, or WM I flash back to stock and locked. Then proceed forward. This insures it's done right. I've had to many where the owner screwed up something and then brings it in to me and either a factory reset or flash back to stock will fix what they screwed up.

Mind if i ask what the take down orders pertain to?It a take down notice other sites have received pertaining to the propriatary software of Motorola. We have not received one to my knowledge that is why I moved it here. There is a copy of it in one of Genuwine's latest posts.
