Virgin Mobile LG510 Rumor Touch prl help thanks

I found myself here looking for a way to re-program my VM Rumor Touch's prl. I made an attempt find the old LG Download tool and .ddl to attempt to get into the phones internals. I ended up reformatting my computer twice as many of the files had malware from 5 years ago, and I could only find LG download ver 1.39. I couldn't get into my phone at all, couldn't find tutorials or advice. Went to try and use CDMA workshop, couldn't figure it out, too involved without some kind of walkthrough.
I'm only wanting to change the prl. I can use this phone as a backup on ringplus, the meid is accepted, but it's not android and changing the prl is not just straighforward pushing a button. If you have any advice I would really appreciate it, Thank you Johnm

You will need spc code first to enable usb comport in order to make connection with any tool.

I may have to go your route. I'm stuck with not having my device show in com port in device manager. I used the Lg support tool to get the usb and modem driver installed, but they don't work for some odd reason. I've tried the tutorial and I'm guessing that my drivers are not right. I'm not going to be able to use any spc code to re-program my prl without being able to make the initial connection. I know this sounds juvenile, but inexperience and outdated equip is against me. Thank you

I think if you dial this ##port# will ask you to enter spc code then you can enable if i am not wrong
