Just got a netbook

And wondering if I should leave Windows 7 or install XP on it? Also are these netbooks good for flashing?

One more thing, can anyone help me out on installing XP from a flash drive? Thanks

use xp its the sure way, instead of using 7 in xp mode. Nothing wrong with using a notebook.

I would say use XP also. 7 sucks in my opinion.

You can use 7 if you dont mind spending double digit number of hours trying to reconfigure your system so all the programs and tools you need will work. And honestly Im not sure all of them will. Stick with XP.

Well, this is just ****ed up. Me being anxious to start using this thing, I forgot to scan my flash drive when installing apps, etc... Virus infected my new netbook and now in the process of reformatting. **** YOU MEGAUPLOAD

get a program called malwarebytes. its free it worked wonders for me in finding and removing the AIDS virus from mine. I hope it works for you too.

For Windows XP- Click start>control panel>appearance and themes>change the desktop background
For Windows 7 and Vista there are two ways
Easy way- Right click>personalize
Longer way- Click start>control panel>Appearance and personalization>Change desktop background
