Launching on the platform just over a year after it landed on iOS, Premiere Clip is a straightforward yet powerful offering, and best of all it won’t cost you a dime. The 45MB app lets you knock together entertaining videos “in minutes”using short clips and images from your device. You can also add a soundtrack from Adobe’s library of music, or from your own. If you’ve little time to spare, or just want to see how clever Adobe’s algorithms are, the app will automatically create a video from your selected photos and clips. If the resulting effort doesn’t quite hit the mark, you can-jump into the app’s freeform editor and tweak parts of the sequence by adding or deleting content, or shifting the order around. “Making dynamic videos couldn’t be simpler,” Adobe says on the app’s website. “Drag and drop clips and photos in the order you like. Trim clips with ease. Adjust exposure. Auto Mix ducks music volume during dialogue, while Smart Volume evens out audio levels.” Related: The best Android apps for almost any occasion To give your piece a more professional look, you can also add titles, transitions, and slo-mo effects, as well as adjust the lighting to get the exact look you’re after. Of course, the app also lets you post your completed masterpiece to your favorite social sites in just a couple of taps. Premiere Clip is a nifty little package that’s suitable for beginners as well as more experienced editors looking for a way to create sequences on the move. Important for this latter group is the ability to send your work to the more advanced Premiere Pro, a feature that gives users even more control over their final sequence. Clip also integrates seamlessly with other Adobe products, including Lightroom and Capture. You can grab Premiere Clip from the Play store right now.
