I hope the BlackBerry Priv is a big success – and so should Google

BlackBerry isn’t the only company that should be rooting for the new BlackBerry Priv smartphone to be a success — Google should be rooting for it as well. The reason for this is that a successful BlackBerry Android phone could set a precedent for Android OEMs pushing-out security patches in a timely fashion and thus hopefully not leaving-users with perpetually unpatched devices.
