In a video render (shown above) the phablet has a similar design to the Honor 7 with a metallic finish, fingerprint sensor on the back, and large camera sensor. Here’s everything we think we know about it so far. Updated on 10-20-2015 by Andy Boxall: Added in new images and spec rumors regarding the Honor 7 Plus First leaked in September, the Honor 7 Plus appeared as a render in a video provided by OnLeaks, and the-claim was made the smartphone may feature a 5.5-inch, 1080p display. In a leak published in October at Nowhereelse.fr, this screen size and resolution is repeated, along with speculation regarding a few other aspects of the phone. Related:- Huawei and LG Nexus: Leaked picture may show LG’s Project N3 Nexus phone For example, it’s stated the device will use the Snapdragon 615 processor with 3GB of RAM, and have a 13-megapixel rear camera. The front camera may have 5 megapixels. These specs differ from the Honor 7, which has a higher megapixel count on the rear camera. Software-wise, the Honor 7 Plus should come with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed. Depending on the launch date, we might see a quick upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the newest version of Google’s operating system. However, Huawei will inevitably cover Android with its own EMUI skin. The fingerprint sensor has become a prominent feature on Huawei’s high-end smartphones,-and a set of images taken from a leaked video featuring the phone show a rear mounted sensor, similar to the one used on the Mate S and Honor 7. The phone has a chunky look to it, much like the Honor 7, and a striking metallic look rear panel. Related:- Huawei may be making a phone to take on the Galaxy S6 Edge There’s no information on a possible price tag, but the price of the Honor 7 is around $490 in the United States, so we can expect the price of the Honor 7 Plus to be slightly higher. When could we see the Honor 7 Plus announced, assuming it’s a real device? Huawei announced the Honor 6 Plus, to which this is presumably a sequel, in December last year, making it less than a year old. It’s not absolutely certain the phone will be named the Honor 7 Plus, with the October report from Nowhereelse.fr speculating it may be named the Honor 5, making it a sequel to the lower specification Honor 4. Noting’s certain about the phone yet, including whether it’ll ever see a final release, but we’ll make sure you’re kept updated with all the-news right here.
