One of the-mantras of last year’s iPhone 6 reviews was that the iPhone 6 Plus was amazing when it comes to battery life, while the iPhone 6 had better battery life than predecessors but not necessarily enough-to meet daily heavy usage needs. This year, the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have similar designs to Apple’s 2014 smartphone, but that doesn’t mean they have identical batteries. In fact, on both devices, Apple had to use slightly smaller batteries as it needed extra space inside the phones to accommodate the taptic engine required for 3D Touch. However, battery life quotes remained exactly the same for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus on Apple’s site, suggesting there aren’t any reasons
