Strange Hero problem

I have a fully flashed Hero, that for some reason the setting (all but MDN and PRL) revert back to the original carrier Cellular South.
I have re-written the NV's changed all the credentials in both CDMA WS 3.5.5, CDMA 2.7, and get an NV file write error message in QPST.
It seams to revert after about the 3rd time of turning the phone off and on.

Open to suggestions.

Did you put the check mark in the nam lock box in cdma workshop. That usually fixes it when I have issues where the phone reverts back. Although I have never had it happen with a hero. But it's worked with all the other phones I had this happen with. Hope it helps...

The problem has not occurred since the 27th, so maybe it fixed it self with my last write of the NV files.
