They came up with it and applied originally for the Htc Hero. I just applied it to the LG ALLY.

I've managed to get root and for it to stay I could only get it to work on my linux system since windows would not recognize my ally for anything other then mass storage no matter what I tried. some of the people ant androidforums have walkthroughs for windows though. Just waiting for some roms to come out. And for some one to hack the bootloader.

put it in usb debugging and your computer should be detecting it as a port

are there any available drivers? the reason i ask is because once in debug mode im prompted for drivers.

Don't really matter what you push because if we dont got 3G data connection active....then nothings gonna work yet.

Ally worked , flashed one for a cus and was working, been two days and no complains, so everything good. and i did use root procedure form post 1.
