Send Places from Google Maps to Your iPhone

Google recently provided an update to its Maps app for iOS that adds the ability to send places from Maps on a desktop to an iPhone. The feature, which has been available to Android phones for several months, requires iPhone owners to enable notifications for Maps. In addition to sending places from desktop to mobile, the update also lets iOS users edit business hours and view photos of their saved places. Google Maps for iOS is free to download from the iTunes App Store.
