i keep getting message not yet retrieved notification when receiving MMS msgs I am using good service books as far as I know from cain

maybe something has changed i seen in another thread someone said something was wrong with the port of a service book not sure i did try to resend host routing table still same problem

ya these books are older i seen some posted on another forum maybe i can grab them and post them to the thread that has service books

i wouldnt recommend that. however i'm guessing u have insaincain's service books. if not contact whoever you bought them from and get the updated service books.

no its might be service books but more than likely you have the option set to what i had set and that is not recieve mms automatically. you can fix it in options then mms or to recieve them just hit menu and retrieve now while at the message

Yeah since that remedy didnt help you. You need to load the services books. I posted some on this site that will fix the problem you are having

yeah nothing is giving on this one i think it has to be a problem on their end or something i have relaoded and removed service books several times done battery pull mess with mms settings and no avail same msg

well maybe im doing something wrong i have a pool.bin in the books i downloaded recieved the mms just can not retrieve the image

Not sure this will help but it does when my customers have this problem with MetroPCS. Pull the battery for ten seconds and reinstall. If that does not work then try calling cricket customer service and have them refresh your account.

i have replaced the wap browser config, wap2 transport, wap push, and mms transport files from the cricket 8530 service books with those parts from Cain's books. will test on next bb i get. will keep you all updated. someone please stop me if you have already tried this.

this mms issue is killing me so i am open to any suggestions. i work for a cricket dealer so i have cid access, so if anything can be done in there i am open to suggestions

Have you made sure you dont have an IT Policy on the device?you can check by navigating Settings>options>security options> General Settings>scroll to the bottom. If you see IT Policy then you need to remove it.

You can wipe the IT Policy with BBSAK software

so you guys are suggesting that it may be an it policy that preventing the incoming mms?
