Twitter Discovers New Way to Spot Trends

Moving forward, when people use the search bar they'll also see trending stories as well as descriptions of those stories. Twitter believes this will make it easier to find popular content that's getting a lot of traction on the social network. The change applies to the Android and iOS mobile applications. Twitter said it is experimenting with this feature on the web, but hasn't yet implemented the change online. Twitter recently updated both its Android and iOS apps, and the changes are reflected in those apps beginning today.
