View Full Version : Verizon swept mifi accounts a couple days ago.. seems to be what they do every march

I have had about 20 calls from peeps saying there mifi stopped working, this happened last march right after they changed authentication standards and it seems they swept accounts again this march but its much less

I called big red and fixed a couple of them so i could see what the deal was, the accounts have some sort of block on them and to fix them they need to remove the meid and then replace it after that it will ota and be fine, lol except they send new keys so you gotta write them again.

When you sign up for a new account do u have to load the dethrottle again as well

yes anytime you re write or hard reset you will loose de-throttle

ya sorry dethrottle is not permanent we are lucky to have it at all.

looks like it was minor (thank god) of all my clients i have about 50 that got knocked off.
so was minor compared to last year when they knocked them all off.

I have been trying to reach Rich on his flashing site, and have tried email, text, and calling the phone numbers listed. I get a message that the phone number has been disconnected, so is this flashing service no longer available? I have a mifi 2200 that I was hoping to flash.

hi, you have emailed me and txt me and my number is disconnected? you are mistaken friend my store phones are all on and i return every email i get and you do not have my mobile number so you couldnt have txt me.
i also have a pm here and i answer most of those msg's, you must be trying to get ahold of someone else, i am KC Phone & Flash and mifis.us
