Sure the iPhone 6 has Apple Pay's tap to pay, but Android is getting Plaso. According to a new report, Google has begun testing this new mobile payments system to rival Apple's NFC-based Apple Pay platform. The Information reports that Google's new mobile payment solution, titled "Plaso," has been in testing since last fall. According to store managers cited in the report, Plaso can be integrated directly into an existing point-of-sale system, or can run on Android phones that Google provides to retailers.
