Idk how active this place is anymore but I have to give it a shot. Alright here's what I'm attempting, I have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 that I'm trying to flash to Boost Mobile however I am having problems. First off the other phone is a Kyocera Hydro which I can't get to communicate with CDMA Workshop or DFS. I have the MSL code and have put the phone into Diag and have a COM port called KYOCERA USB KC02US Serial Port (COM10), but I keep getting Failed...Phone didn't answer. Another problem I have gotten is after flashing my personal Boost Mobile phone's ESN to the S3 and turn it on I get 3G data and calling however no SMS, how would I go about fixing this? Another question, what does the AAA password do exactly. That's all I can think of atm, hope someone can help me out. :D
*EDIT* Seeing the S3 worked other than texting on an already active account would flashing the other phones ESN to the S3 and then activating it on it's own Boost account be alright? Would it fix the texting issue?

100% fix for your problem is simple have someone that has access to simply re-sku your s3 then you can just update the profile thru the boost zone on your phone and all will work, but you need to put your s3 back to stock before you do that, and the AAA keys is for data authentication.
I can re-sku or several others here can do it for you as well.

How does re-SKU'ing work? Or what is it? lol haven't heard that term through my research yet. Also is it ok to have my phone and the S3 that is sharing the same ESN as my phone on at the same time since they are both using the same account? I've been avoiding it but would like to know if it's fine to have them both on.

re-sku means to add that meid into boosts database, and its fine to keep both on unless someone happens to see it on the carrier side, but they wont if its only 2 devices, chances are very slim.

ok that's a bit confusing lol so let me get this right, what i need to do is to flash the esn hex/dec and meid hex/dec that was originally on the Sprint S3 and reset any other changes I might have made and then someone will add the Sprint S3 MEID to Boost databases whereas i can make a new separate account for the S3 and will have everything working fine and dandy on it?
