[How to] Motorola Devour partial flash and hard reset

Motorola Devour with moto BLur partial Flash:

here's the way to get around activations screen

Do not touch anything and once your in the "select your language"
screen, slide out the keyboard and type the following:
Fn, E, Fn, E, B, L, U, R, O, F, F.

Then plug usb cable in and choose modem mode on the screen.
Use cdma workshop 2.7 or Qpst to load the prl.

you can use ##program send to program it :)




Hard reset:

Perform a hard reset on your Motorola Devour if you’re having consistent problems with it or if you just want to wipe the data off of it to start new.

1. Turn the phone off. If it won’t turn off, take the battery out then put it back in.

2. Open the physical keyboard.

3. Press and hold the Power + R and Space keys.

4. The recovery screen will appear with a yellow exclamation point. Press Z and M together on the keyboard.

The Devour will then complete the hard reset.

Don't forget to hit the "Thanks" button!

hey bigglou I tried this method but it is not connecting in cdma workshop. It shows on the com port but it fails in reading. any ideas?

ok i got the wap working though the proxy settings from anycut still no go on the MMS. I can recieve MMS but unable to send it and yes i also did the nv write up from white rabbit site to make my devour say 3g.

Hey bawanyh, you won't be able to read the phone information, just connect, send the spc and write whatever you need to change.

the phone might not be connecting because it has a memory card. . try checking it with out a memory card bawaynh

so to be clear i can flash the devour to work on sprint correct long as i load proper prl and ect?

sprint wont activate any non sprint esn.so you would be wasting your time.

to connect
don't need to read just connect right com port and go to security send spc and
you can read
This phone don't need to be rooted , just everything got done on stock rom

and WS nam setting mnc 00 to 04

ok i tried to follow Plee's way but i cant seem to quite figure it out, anyone mind helping?

and i dont see how to edit my 1x/EVDO settings, im really strugling here
