Problem with droid downgrade

Hey guys i'm having trouble downgrading from the 2.1 back to the 2.0.1, i am using RSD Lite v4.6, and i'm using the VZW_A855_ESD56_QSC6085BP_C_01.3E.01P_SW_UPDATE_03. sbf.

Everytime i do it, it fails does anyone know why?

Are you using the most current drivers or the one that RSD lite loads. Does it do anything as for the downgrade or does it just fail at the start. Are you manually powering off/on when it says. Also don't unplug it at anytime until it is done.

Ive had the same problem, i just used a diff pc and it worked.

p.s. are you putting the phone in download mode first?

To put it into download mode: shut the phone off, slide open keyboard, press up on the directional pad
keep it pressed then power on, continue to have up pressed till download mode appears on the screen.

then try the monster again.

That monster will only work with 4.6.

even if rsd 4.6 says fail, click on show device and the phone will boot. and check the firmware version, the monster flash will have gone thru :)
