Does any1 know the new IP address for cricket that they have changed to? I am having problems in Moto Q and Q9c so far. Also are there different IP addresses for different phones?

OK, this is how i remember the way we can get our own ip address.
Someone correct me if im wrong, haven't done it in a while.


You will need to teather with a phone with working cricket wap to do this:

Once teathered go to start then run and type in "ping wap.mycricket.com" (without the quotes)
and it will give you the ip you need :)

is this the ip needed to get gps working? thats the only thing i cant get working on my bb storm

This may have changed. I've had a 2700 and an Instinct in the shop today that WAP died on with 010.133.026.012.

Don't have a working BB modem to hit wap.mycricket.com. Can someone oblige?

use a phone that searches for its own ip such as a palm treo. open the cli and just type ping wap.mycricket.com it will ping back the good ip for your area as long as it has a cricket prl and sid. we switched to 010.132.025.254 a few weeks ago. if you need help with that instinct i have done a few hundred of them,i can help you.

Just had my third customer call me with same issue.

Thanks, Rich. I've done quite a few of them as well. Rest of the ##3282# info is spot on. I'll post results once customer returns.

The ip that Rich listed worked. Guess they changed the ip address again like they did several months ago.

Been using 010.132.025.254 for a few months now, haven't had any problems with it.

They just dropped the 010.133.026.012 IP on 1/5 in my market. As a matter of fact, I programmed a lady's Samsung Seek with that IP on Monday and it worked fine. Only to have her return yesterday with no WAP...plugged in the 010.132.025.254 and she's back on.
