MetroPCS Says It Now Has Nationwide Footprint

MetroPCS today indicated via its official Twitter account that it "has gone nationwide." T-Mobile, which owns MetroPCS, has been expanding Metro's retail footprint over the last year. MetroPCS relies on T-Mobile's LTE network, and is now available in all the markets served by T-Mobile US, which covers about 200 million Americans. MetroPCS expanded its reach by 10 markets just several weeks ago. MetroPCS is T-Mobile's prepaid division, which doesn't ask customers to subscribe to contracts.
