For those having bb mms problems

I've been receiving many calls from clients complaining about MMS not working anymore in their Blackberry's...we tried to Reflash,Refresh,Provission and nothing could fix the problem...I personally did call to the Cricket Dealer's Hot Line in my area and they told me that Cricket made an update in the server last week but they didnt really know anything about the flashed Blackberry's....I talked to the person that is the one encharged to fix any kind of technical situations for cricket dealers and she told me that Cricket is getting the server ready to sell the Blackberry's Cricket branded and maybe they changed something in the settings in order to make their Blackberrys to work with the Blackberry Server.....anyways, if somebody else is having the same problem in their city's and they already know how to fix this mess... or any kind of help will be much appreciated....Thank's.

I've had the same issue with blackberrys in the central valley of california. only with mms too webs fine

i had the same issue. mainly on pearls. i just did a 8530 and it worked fine. same service books. idk man lol

Some people have had bb problems sendind and recieving mms. This is how I fix it everytime and it never fails for me. Simply go to your bb menu by hitting ##000000 send. then go to dmu auth it should say 00111111 change it to 11111111. that is 8 1's. Save and reset no more mms problems

after changing that to 8 1's is that going to stay or it will change if we activate? I am asking you this because sometimes I do bulk flashing and the line is not active so if I chnage that before activation will it effect after the line is activated?

should stay the same when you save it to the phone.
activating it shouldn't do anything to it because most of us manually
program bb's.

hmm, i know that there are new service books floating around to fix the problem. i think insanecain made them.

Make sure you have the web working. Mms will not work other wise

Its probably in your service books dont know which you use

it's floating around in the usual forums, use service books that have the proxy ports 8080 (0.0.0.0:8080;8080). Supernine's are working great currently. It'll be interesting to see the official cricket service books when they come out.

InsaneCain Service books are not working for me anymore...i saw a thread in HF where somebody posted the fixing...like a patch and only two other members could get it before Insanecain Edited the post and removed the link from the thread...wich is ok for me because he is the one that owns the solution but what I dont see that its fair that nobody else is able to get that patch anymore...and we are still screwed up with the service books not working with MMS.

Ive only used the BB solution from Tony Cortes and i haven't had any problems with mms so far.
I flashed 2 BB's so far today and mms works great.


The 2 BB's were a storm and a curve :)

Yeah it a patch just to fix the problem been having. I dont mind if you put it on 4shared, filedropper, megaupload, rapidshare, as long as it helps its coo with me.

Add this file after using the service books you got i download and seen it was wrong ports for mms so i edited the mms apply this after you load your servicebooks load this while in legacy mode to over write the mms and you should not have any more problems *** hidden content ***

i tried everything to fix the problem with the Service Books...nothing works for me...the only thing that I can recomend to everyone is to get the Tony Cortez Service Books...they are working just fine for me. :)

hi all, i have just tryed this on 3 bb curves one alltell one sprint one verizon,none of which have a dmu auth. anywhere in the service programing screen.is this model specific?
from what i remember all the bb's service programing menu's are the same.i do have supernine's service books,and they do work,however it would be much faster and simple to just edit the service programing menu.i am a retail flashing store in kc.and time is always of the essence. also for anyone who does not know the code for the service programing menu is ##000000 send or occasionally ##000008 send ----the original thread said ## and then 5--0's. this will bring up a msl error every time.

by the way this new forum is a fantastic alternative to m-f r.i.p. m-f

mine worked by changing interval to 1500 ms in evdo and also in manual programming set the mo voice so home to the higest # in drop down box i believe it was 32768 all bb that stopped mms working got fixed with this setting and used same service books that stopped working earlier

When I got my Storm, I loaded SB I found on HF, by to0 and insaincain. No MMS, so I read and read, two days later I had merged some books to get the ports 8080; 8080 and posted the how to and the files I made at HF, in the same thread insanecain posted the broken ones. I left there names in the file, posted cred to them for there work, and insane deleted it all. He was still selling them at MF. if your uploads are getting flagged down, it is because many are still selling the fix.

Magick Berry and merge is the solution. Loading with crackutil to pull and reload browser daemon works great. I made SB's with my tag in them, and have given them out to all that want them. But I think the walk-through works best for people. If you see 'to0 insane' in your books, then they need the mms ports merged.

I posted the fixed books at HF, and he pulled the how-to and the modded files I posted. He is still selling the fix at MF. It is easy to fix them. You need the ports in MMS Trans to read 8080; 8080. Magic Berry can make this happen. You need to merge books to get it to work. Edited books with Magic Berry won't load. You can also Hex edit the books to work, if you know what lines to edit. I have given the files I made with my name in them to those that asked, I don't have a megaupload account or anything. If some one wishes to post these books I got, and it's cool with the mods, then it is cool with me. Cricket is adding two smart phones soon. One is a BB and that means these books aren't worth holding on to. BB's will be fully working here soon on cricket! I will give my email to anyone that needs these books till then.

if it is cricket change back to 00111111 and find tony cortez most recent service books flash them back to the phone and that will fix the problem.but keep in mind with cricket,mms works thru wap on blackberry,so no wap=no mms.
