It’s confirmed: The next major version of Android will launch at Google I/O this week

In a long profile of Google Android boss Sundar Pichai at Bloomberg Businessweek, the publication reveals toward the very end of the piece that Pichai “will preview the next [Android] release (Lollipop? Lemonhead?) for the first time at I/O rather than waiting until the fall.” Last year we had-to wait until the fall to get our first look at Android 4.4 KitKat but Pichai explains to Bloomberg Businessweek that the company has decided to push things up this year because “I want the world to understand what we are doing sooner.” We’ll be here to
