CNET reports that at Re/code’s conference this week, Son once again laid into America’s ISPs and wondered why we bothered putting up with them and their pricey, subpar services. “At my home in Silicon Valley I say, oh my God, how can America live like this?” he said. Son in particular lashed out at Verizon and AT&T, which he called a wireless duopoly, and at Comcast, which he noted had a monopoly on wireline services throughout huge parts of the country. He also once again pledged that if Sprint were to buy T-Mobile, he would deliver faster wireless data services
