Cricket 800w solution
BY SUPERNINE
Credits: Beezlewaxin for great drivers, Randomwit for great CAB ideas.

0) Before anything, I recommend executing a hard reset to avoid any issues (##RTN#)

1) Place phone in DIAG PASSTHRU by dialing ##3424#

2) Connect phone via USB cable

3) Instal Beezle's Treo DIAG drivers for the new hardware detected

4) Retrieve SPC from memory read at the following address:
Address: 0x00790000-007A0000

5) After retrieving SPC, set it to zeros using CDMA Workshop. Also load your PRL.

6) Using NV Items Write feature under memory tab, apply the IOTA Bypass (800W_IOTA_Bypass.txt)

7) Then using the Authentication feature under EVDO tab, edit fields to match:

[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Password: cricket
IP Behaviour: Simple IP
Active: 0

8) Perform a mode reset, phone will not reboot, just radio.

9) After mode reset, make sure you disable DIAG PASSTHRU and transfer the provided CAB (CKT800W[S9]) via ActiveSync

10) Using File Explorer, launch the CAB, accept any warning or prompts. After it successfully installs, it will ask to reboot device.

12) Enjoy the fully flashed phone with EVDO, WAP, and MMS.

Palm Centro IOTA + Provisioning Bypass - Thanks to insanecain for doing this solution. This was a long awaited one for many. All my other carrier Centro solutions are based off this.

First get the file from the link below:

Now just use CDMA Workshop to write these nv items to your device under the "Memory" tab.

Next, you will need to make sure that your "NAM" and "EVDO" tabs are programmed correctly.

Is there any other way to write NV items to treo 800w without cdma workshop? I have the iota fix, and I have a fully flashed treo 800w to take nv items off of, but cdma workshop server is either down or i am missing something. Any ideas on writing the nv items with qpst or cdma workshop 2.7? Im struggling here.

Im trying it now. Unfortunately when I try to write the 800iota file it gives me an error saying it is not a valid back up file. i am trying to figure out how to write it with 2.7, and i am trying to read the nv items from the flashed 800 so i can in turn write those items to the unflashed ones, but am not sure how to pull it off.

Thats what I thought to, but 2.7 didnt like it, but i took your adviceon using 2.7. I read the NV from my flashed 800, and then compared it to the NV items in the ckt800iota file, and made sure they were identical. I think the ne reason 2.7 didnt like the regular ckt800iota file is because their were only 28 items and they were not all in a row. So i ended up reading/writing 69 items. thx1

on a side note, has anyone noticed that after you write the ckt800iota nv items the phone has a hard time getting service?

Hey buddy how's it going, to do the memory read use CDMA WS. and enter that starting address, also note that you probably need a specific data cable and not just the sync/USB cable for that one.

You will need a prolific SATA cable. The regular usb cable does nothing for this process. You can find one one on ebay for about 75$.

This is in no way a sales pitch, but information provide.
Randomwit on howardforums sales them for $75 and guarantees them.

Regular cable works fine for this, or should I say it worked fine for me. You are talking about step #4 being reading the SPC from memory directly, right?

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but I was admiring SUPERNINE's work on the Cricket Graphics and wanted to make sure he had credit in the thread... then figured I would read the thread.

You might be using the wrong version of CDMA WS, or maybe you didn't send the SPC first?

I'm thinking a CDMA WS version issue, I believe the files are written for 3.5 and there for will not work with 2.7 with out modifications.

Ok just a suggestion using the nv's you can read those items from you phone and edit and rewrite them.

Ok I finally got everything to work including finding the MSL. my only issue now. Is that I don't know where the Auth for the EVDO is that this guides referring too? are you talking about entering it manually into the date screen? ##3282# because I could do that in there.
