First, the company announced that its Mailbox application for iOS devices will be available to Android devices beginning later today. Mailbox, which integrates Dropbox online storage, is being offered to desktop machines, too. Further, the company introduced a new photo-organizing service and app called Carousel. The application automatically uploads, stores, and organizes photos based on time/location to make for easier sharing. Albums can be viewed on mobile devices, but the files are all stored on Dropbox's servers. Carousel supports private messages and makes it possible to share entire albums as well as save photos that others have shared. Carousel is available for Android and iOS starting today.
