As was the case last year, however, the device doesn’t appear to actually offer high-end specs like the flagship Galaxy S5. While the company has-yet to unveil the handset, SamMobile has already obtained hardware details for the Galaxy S5 mini. The phone is expected to pack a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p HD resolution, a Qualcomm processor (likely the quad-core Snapdragon 400 model,) 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 8-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, IR blaster, 2100mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat.
