5510L serial drivers?

How do you get the 5510L into serial mode? I disabled the LAN emulator in the config, but not drivers for serial emulation are loaded. I give up on my 4510L, will see if I can get this working. Thank you.

Some of the Novatel, use a factory tool to get in serial mode.

What i can do for you is give the drivers, and with the drivers i have you will be able to get comport/serial port.

Does the device have to be in tether or non tether mode in order for the serial port device to show up in the device manager?

I did not check that, it might be non tether.

The 5510L Drivers work for windows 7? the only ones i found on the novatel site for that particular mifi were for xp only

What am I missing I have never had Novatel issues I tried Lan enabled and disabled. Still nothing is it like a hw vsp thing?

No, uninstall the drivers and try to re-install back, it should give you a comport.

You are not, Some time you get lucky getting comport, but for new Novatel is need a factory tool to get Comport.

I know about because, I have all those Novatel model and I use OEM tool to get comport.

Is there any trick to get the drivers you provided to show a COM port? and i guess you guard those OEM tools with your life?

Yes, these OEM tools and ENG drivers can not be shared, Used the drivers, I posted here. or use Duu to get comport
